Founded in 2009 by master craftsman Gift, Alvin Upholstery began as a small workshop dedicated to preserving and restoring cherished furniture pieces. What started as a passion project quickly grew into South Africa's most respected upholstery studio.
The name "Alvin" pays homage to Gift's grandfather, who first introduced him to the art of upholstery and instilled in him a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and attention to detail.
